Landscape East & West is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician for servicing irrigation and lighting systems in the Portland Metro area. This full service, eco-friendly landscape contractor offers a chance to be part of an award-winning team.

You will handle start-ups, winterizations, and repairs for various properties. Requirements include 3 years of experience, strong communication, and a valid driver's license. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $30 to $35 an hour.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience with irrigation systems.
• Certification or a degree in a related field can substitute for experience.
• Possess a valid and insurable driver's license.

Job Overview

Landscape East & West is a full service, award winning, eco-friendly, customer-focused landscape contractor based out of Clackamas and Hillsboro, OR. We are always looking experienced irrigation technicians for our team. The Irrigation Technician will be servicing irrigation and lighting systems for commercial customers throughout the Portland Metro area.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Start-ups, winterizations, backflow testing, and general irrigation repair work for residential properties, apartment complexes, homeowners’ associations, and other commercial properties.
• Installation of new irrigation systems and Backflow Preventers.
• Installation and repair of drainage systems and other water control systems.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience with irrigation systems. Certification or a degree in a related field can be a substitute for work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication skills
• Tech Savvy and willing to learn new systems when needed
• Possess a valid and insurable driver's license
• Good attention to detail and constant alertness are necessary for safety reasons and to avoid careless mistakes.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to walk through maintenance accounts, through all types of terrain.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel & dig
• Able to drive company assigned van and trailer

Position Range

$30 - $35
