Job summary

Mariani Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Irrigation Technician to service irrigation and lighting systems for commercial customers in the Portland Metro area. You will work on start-ups, winterizations, backflow testing, and general irrigation repairs for diverse properties.

The role requires at least 3 years’ experience with irrigation systems, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication. A certification or related degree can substitute for experience; HS diploma or GED preferred.

Job Overview

Landscape East & West is a full service, award winning, eco-friendly, customer-focused landscape contractor based out of Clackamas and Hillsboro, OR. We are always looking experienced irrigation technicians for our team. The Irrigation Technician will be servicing irrigation and lighting systems for commercial customers throughout the Portland Metro area.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Start-ups, winterizations, backflow testing, and general irrigation repair work for residential properties, apartment complexes, homeowners' associations, and other commercial properties.
• Installation of new irrigation systems and Backflow Preventers.
• Installation and repair of drainage systems and other water control systems.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years’ experience with irrigation systems.
• Certification or a degree in a related field can be a substitute for work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Tech Savvy and willing to learn new systems when needed.
• Possess a valid and insurable driver's license.
• Good attention to detail and constant alertness are necessary for safety reasons and to avoid careless mistakes.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to walk through maintenance accounts, through all types of terrain.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel & dig.
• Able to drive company assigned van and trailer.

Position Range: $30 - $35
