Job summary

Merit Landscape Solutions of Texas is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to support installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems. You’ll join a skilled crew delivering quality results for local clients.

The role involves troubleshooting clocks, valves, heads, and pumps; performing seasonal services; and keeping logs. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, pass a driving check, and read site plans; backflow certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years irrigation experience (commercial preferred).
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Comfort using tools, wiring systems, and reading site plans.
• Backflow certification or willingness to obtain (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems (clocks, valves, heads, pumps).

• Track parts, materials, and service logs.
• Communicate with clients and team leads about system needs.
