Job summary

Merit Landscape Solutions is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to support the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial irrigation systems for local clients. You will join high-performing crews to deliver quality results and uphold safety standards on every project.

This role covers troubleshooting, seasonal services, and accurate service logging, with year-round work and training for career growth. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of irrigation experience, commercial preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to read site plans and work with wiring systems.
• Backflow certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems (clocks, valves, heads, pumps).
• Perform seasonal services (activations, winterizations, audits).
• Track parts, materials, and service logs.
• Communicate with clients and team leads about system needs.
• Support snow operations or enhancement crews in off-season.
