Job summary

Estate Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, LLC in Southwest Florida is seeking an Irrigation Technician I to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair advanced irrigation systems, ensuring landscape health for our clients.

You will program controllers, install new systems, maintain site records, manage parts, and perform hand excavation as needed. Qualified candidates hold a valid driver's license and BMP certification; bilingual skills are a plus in our family-oriented team.

Qualifications

• Experience with mainline repair and a strong understanding of two-wire irrigation systems.
• Valid driver's license.
• BMP (Best Management Practices) Certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs. frequently, and perform routine hand-excavation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation system issues using multi-meters and wire locators.
• Repair and maintain multi-wire and two-wire irrigation systems, including programming and replacing decoders.
• Program, activate, and deactivate irrigation controllers to meet seasonal and landscape requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of site layouts, valve locations, zones, and system run times.
• Install new irrigation systems, including layout, pipe cutting and gluing, and adjusting various head types.
• Perform hand excavation as needed for repairs and installations.
• Manage inventory by keeping work vehicles stocked and procuring necessary parts for repairs.
