Job summary

Estate Landscaping & Lawn Maintenance, LLC is seeking a mature, detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair complex irrigation systems for our Southwest Florida clients. You will analyze voltage, locate underground issues, program controllers, and ensure landscapes thrive.

Ideal candidates have BMP Certification, a clean driver record, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. The role requires physical stamina and precise record-keeping in a fast-paced, family-like

Qualifications

• BMP Certification required.
• Strong background in mainline repair and knowledge of two-wire systems.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record (3 years).
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• System Diagnostics: Use multi-meters to check voltage and wire locators to find underground issues.
• Advanced Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair multi-wire and two-wire systems, including changing and programming decoders.
• Smart Programming: Activate, deactivate, and program irrigation clocks based on seasonal and landscape needs.
• Maintenance & Records: Maintain accurate site as-builts (valve locations, zones, times) and complete paperwork precisely.
• Installation & Excavation: Layout and install new systems, cut/glue pipe, and adjust all head types; hand-excavated wires and pipes as needed.
• Inventory Management: Keep your truck properly stocked and purchase parts required for specific repairs.

The Opportunity

• Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for long periods, lift 50 lbs. frequently, and handle routine hand-excavation.
