Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

The Building Services Department is seeking (1) an Irrigation Technician to join our team. We offer a flexible work environment, generous benefits, professional development, and a growing academic setting.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, heads, and lines.
• Operate trenching and digging machinery.
• Oversee work of support staff as needed.
• Perform scheduled irrigation checks and adjustments.
• Install new irrigation systems.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory.
• Drive to various campuses for work.
• Support maintenance activities and ensure safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED and 3 years related experience in irrigation or plumbing.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of trenching machinery, safety regulations, Xeriscape techniques.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.

Location: Atlanta Campus

Salary: $43,000 - $45,000
