Job summary

The Irrigation Technician at Garpiel Group designs and installs irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients, and inspects and repairs for efficiency and water conservation.

You will handle start-ups, maintenance, diagnostics, and customer service, while documenting work daily and keeping equipment clean. Weather-ready position requiring strong teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience is preferred.
• Electrical experience is a plus.
• Exceptional time management, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Detail oriented and able to maintain accuracy.
• Delivers quality work and services.
• Lift heavy objects for prolonged periods.
• Maintain good attendance and report to work on time daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform irrigation system start ups, blow outs, system maintenance, and sprinkler system installations.
• Diagnostics and repairs to piping, wiring, and clocks.
• Provide professional customer service to existing and potential customers.
• Complete and turn in all paperwork properly and clearly written on a daily basis.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the assigned truck and equipment.
• Operate commercial equipment.
• Tracking hours and materials used on jobsites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the design and installation of irrigation systems for both residential and commercial. In addition, they inspect, audit, adjust and repair the systems to ensure they perform at maximum efficiency and conserve water.
