Twice is seeking an irrigation technician to operate, service, and repair a complex golf irrigation system. The role covers preventive maintenance, seasonal winterization, and daily inspections across the facility.

Requirements include a college or technical certificate or 3–6 months related experience, plus a valid Driver's License. The position emphasizes safe work practices and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties.
• Past irrigation experience or chemical applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance on irrigation system including lake recirculation and water features.
• Determines wet and dry areas to adjust sprinkler heads.
• Inventories and stocks irrigation parts and tools to minimize downtime.
• Maintains knowledge of pump station maintenance requirements.
• Operates, maintains and repairs the irrigation system including leaks on distribution lines, valves, electrical system and irrigation control wire.
• Reports irrigation breaks immediately to Head Irrigation Technician or Superintendent and logs repairs.
• Prioritizes irrigation breaks and uses time efficiently.
• Conducts monthly checks of all sprinkler heads on the golf facility.
• Routinely inspects irrigation components to ensure proper operation.
• Responsible for winterization and blowout of irrigation system, including lines, valves and pump stations.
• Adheres to safe work practices.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
