Job summary

Elite Grounds is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems across diverse landscapes, ensuring water efficiency and system reliability.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, adjust timers and components, and collaborate with landscaping teams to design efficient layouts while communicating clearly with clients and keeping accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems and components.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various outdoor conditions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license; certifications in irrigation technology or related fields are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and water conservation.
• Conduct regular maintenance, including adjusting and replacing timers, valves, and other components of irrigation systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within irrigation systems and develop effective solutions to address them.
• Perform seasonal system adjustments.
• Collaborate with landscaping teams to design and implement efficient irrigation layouts.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients to explain issues, propose solutions, and offer maintenance advice.
• Maintain records of work performed, including parts used for invoicing, and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
