Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in irrigation system installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and water management principles.
• Basic electrical wiring skills related to irrigation control systems.
• Familiarity with landscape design and lawn care practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement irrigation systems based on landscape plans and site-specific requirements.
• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation components including pipes, valves, sprinklers, and controllers.
• Monitor water quality and usage to optimize irrigation schedules and prevent resource waste.
• Collaborate with landscape designers and maintenance crews to integrate irrigation with overall landscape care.
• Perform electrical wiring tasks necessary for automated irrigation system operation and troubleshooting.
• Apply masonry techniques to build or repair irrigation-related structures such as valve boxes and trenches.
• Conduct regular inspections and trimming to ensure irrigation systems function efficiently and plants receive adequate water.
• Document system designs, maintenance activities, and repairs to maintain accurate records and support client communication.
