Down to Earth in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Irrigation Specialist who loves irrigation management and the green industry. You'll support design, maintenance, and optimization of irrigation systems across our landscaping operations to ensure efficient water distribution and landscape health.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of hands-on experience, strong knowledge of irrigation components, the ability to read plans, and a commitment to water conservation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with irrigation systems.
• Ability to read irrigation plans or system layouts.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and adjust irrigation systems including controllers, valves, heads, piping, and wiring.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot leaks, electrical faults, and coverage deficiencies.
• Program, monitor, and adjust irrigation controllers for efficiency.
• Perform seasonal startup, winterization, and system audits.
• Ensure compliance with local water regulations and conservation practices.
