Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years irrigation system maintenance experience required.
• Texas CDL required.
• TCEQ Licensed Irrigator certification required.
• Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester certification required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parks and irrigation systems; identify leaks, coverage issues, and maintenance needs
• Prioritize projects and supervise irrigation maintenance crews
• Adjust irrigation schedules to ensure water efficiency
• Test, repair, and maintain backflow prevention devices and irrigation components
• Create and manage work orders; review daily activity and material usage reports
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper equipment use
• Respond to emergency events and perform technician duties as needed

This position supervises irrigation crews, inspects systems, prioritizes and assigns work, and ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with City and state regulations.
