Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Manager for our Commercial Landscape Install team to oversee irrigation installations, schedule projects, and lead field crews on client sites. This role focuses on supervising teams, managing resources, and delivering quality work within budget.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of supervisory experience in irrigation or landscape industries, strong knowledge of irrigation systems, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in irrigation services, landscape installation or landscape maintenance industries.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based and computerized irrigation controller systems.
• Knowledge of plant material and horticultural best practices.
• Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications including MS Office Suite.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record check.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Must be able and willing to work outside in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple irrigation installation teams and lead projects to completion.
• Train and develop irrigation installation teams and provide day-to-day scheduling and guidance.
• Manage all irrigation installations, including coordination of materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plans for employees.
• Provide training and support of irrigation team members, including proper operation of equipment, safety, and quality standards.
• Order materials and monitor costs and deliveries.
• Assist with creating estimates for time and materials on irrigation install projects.
• Maintain job files for irrigation installation projects.
• Attend job pre-walks and turnover meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication with clients.
• Other relevant job duties as needed.

• Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
