Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Tech to join our landscape construction team. We are a full-service landscape design, build, and management company with a focus on growth, safety, and excellence.

This role involves maintaining and repairing irrigation systems and supporting the installation and inspection of irrigation lines and components. You will monitor and troubleshoot systems, operate timers and controls, and ensure detailed inspections are documented.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair irrigation systems, including replacing valves, fan belts, switches, and contacts.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and test irrigation systems.
• Turn irrigation systems on and off as designated.
• Repair and replace hoses, pipes, and sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Operate timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Replace or repair irrigation valves.
• Install or repair irrigation lines.
• Conduct and record detailed inspections of irrigation systems.
• May assist in maintenance activities as required.
• Ensure proper care in equipment use and workplace safety.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including replacing valves, fan belts, switches, and contacts.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems.
• Turns irrigation systems on and off as designated.
• Repairs and replaces hoses, pipes, and numerous types of sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Replaces or repairs irrigation valves.
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines.
• Conducts and records detailed inspections of irrigation systems.
• May assist in various maintenance activities as required.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Use of hand and power equipment for landscape and irrigation duties
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
