Responsibilities

• Monitor crew productivity, workmanship, and overall service quality across customer sites.
• Manage work tickets, timesheets, inventory, and verification of labor, time, and materials.
• Communicate professionally with customers and occasionally prepare minor service estimates.

Position Title: Irrigation Manager

Take the lead on a dedicated irrigation operation while staying hands-on with the work you know best. A growing landscape maintenance and irrigation services company is seeking an experienced Irrigation Manager to oversee irrigation services across residential, commercial, multifamily, and HOA properties. This is a player-coach role combining field leadership, advanced troubleshooting and repair, crew management, scheduling, and operational oversight.

Approximately 70% of the role is spent in the field checking sites, supporting technicians, troubleshooting complex irrigation issues, and ensuring quality work. The remaining 30% is focused on scheduling, work tickets, timesheets, inventory, and other management responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a strong irrigation technician or experienced irrigation leader who knows how to solve problems in the field, communicate effectively, and keep a team productive.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 / Year, DOE

Requirements

• Ability to balance hands-on fieldwork with scheduling, administrative responsibilities, and team oversight
• Strong communication and people-management skills with the ability to keep field teams productive
• Experience with landscape maintenance or commercial irrigation service environments preferred
• Spanish communication skills are a plus but not required
• Familiarity with Aspire, Microsoft Office, email, or scheduling systems is beneficial
