Job summary

UC Irvine in Irvine, CA seeks an experienced Irrigation Technician to lead and perform installation, repair, and maintenance of campus irrigation systems, including manual and automatic controllers and valves.

You will inspect, diagnose, and adjust MaxiCom controlled systems, coordinate with facilities staff, hold a CA driver's license, and be ready for on-call work and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge to operate grounds equipment and tools.
• Experience with irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to estimate material requirements and project costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct repair, maintenance and installation of both manual and automatic irrigation systems and related equipment.
• Inspect systems, repair and adjust controllers, valves and sprinkler heads.
