Job summary
UC Irvine is seeking an experienced Grounds/Irrigation Technician to lead the repair, maintenance, and installation of irrigation systems on the Irvine campus. Qualifications
- Knowledge and skill to operate commonly used grounds equipment and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to repair, install, and maintain irrigation systems.
- Experience with manual and automatic irrigation systems and MaxiCom control systems.
- Valid California Driver License.
- 1-3 years of irrigation installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct others in repairing, maintaining and installing both manual and automatic irrigation systems and related equipment.
- Inspect systems, repair and adjust controllers, valves, and complex sprinkler heads.
- Knowledge of MaxiCom central control system and related components.
