Job summary
Environmental Management Inc. is seeking an Irrigation Installation Technician to install, maintain, and support underground irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients.
You will work under the supervision of Project Managers to ensure safe, efficient installations that meet project specs and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have irrigation installation experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment, with opportunities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in irrigation installation, landscaping, construction, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, electrical wiring, controllers, valves, and sprinkler components.
- Ability to read blueprints, layouts, and project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install underground irrigation systems, including piping, valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, and related components.
- Read and interpret irrigation plans, layouts, and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily work activities with Project Managers and Crew Leaders.
- Perform trenching, pipe installation, wiring, and system testing.
- Troubleshoot irrigation system issues and assist with repairs as needed.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and client expectations.
- Complete daily paperwork including timesheets, field reports, work orders, and service documentation.
