Job summary

Walmart in Las Cruces, NM is hiring for an irrigation and facilities maintenance role. You will install irrigation system components, maintain and repair systems, and perform seasonal start-up and winterization.

The job requires operating heavy equipment, vehicles, and power tools, while ensuring safety policies are followed and documentation is accurately maintained. You will respond to work orders, prioritize tasks, and coordinate with store leadership and external partners to meet timelines

Qualifications

• Experience operating irrigation and landscape maintenance equipment.
• Ability to read and follow design drawings, specs, and codes is preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install irrigation components including controllers, wiring, valves and piping.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems; perform seasonal start-up and winterization.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain vehicles and heavy machinery safely.
• Respond to work orders, document work, and communicate with managers and customers.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with leaders and partners to meet timelines and service expectations.
