The Quincy-Columbia Basin Irrigation District is seeking a Ditchrider/Canal Maintenance specialist for a full-time, year-round position. You will be responsible for the timely delivery and regulation of irrigation water to water-users on an assigned route and perform canal maintenance tasks as assigned.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid Washington driver's license with insurable MVR, and the ability to obtain a Class A CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements within 270 days,

Qualificações

• High school diploma, GED or comparable education.
• Valid Washington State driver's license with insurable MVR, negative pre-employment drug test and extensive background investigation.
• Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials & Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 270 calendar days of employment.
• Public Pesticide License with Right-of-Way & Aquatic Irrigation endorsements or ability to obtain within 270 calendar days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver and regulate irrigation water to water-users on an assigned route.
• Perform canal maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Operate tools and heavy equipment and keep accurate records.
