The City of Frisco is seeking a Parks Crew Leader to oversee maintenance and operations of city parks and recreation areas. This role involves supervising staff, operating equipment, and ensuring safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant experience in parks maintenance. The position requires a valid Texas Driver’s License and may involve outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Under general supervision of a Parks Superintendent or Parks Supervisor, the Parks Crew Leader oversees assigned staff and participates in maintaining City parks, land, recreation areas, landscaping, forestry, natural areas, medians, and right of ways. Operates and instructs in the use of various light and heavy equipment, landscape machinery, hand, and power tools.

Primarily outdoor work with exposure to weather, chemicals, plants/animals, fumes, and pathogens. Physical activities include balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, repetitive motions, standing, stooping, talking, visual acuity, and walking.
Operates city equipment including mowers, tractors, skid-steer, trencher, and standard office equipment.
