Job summary

Horizon Strategies LLC in Tampa, FL, is seeking an Irregular Warfare Planner to support USCENTCOM theater-level planning. The role involves developing plans, COAs, orders, CONOPs, and coordinating across DoD, interagency, allied, and partner-nation activities.

Candidates should have 10+ years in SOF and at least 2 years in sensitive or cyber activities, TS/SCI clearance, and readiness for CONUS/OCONUS travel. Normal work hours and on-site performance at USCENTCOM HQ, Tampa.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the Special Operations Enterprise.
• 2+ years in sensitive IC or cyber activities.
• 5+ years in SOF/IW at a Joint or Geographic Combatant Command HQ.

Responsibilities

• Develop plans, COAs, FRAGOs, orders, CONOPs, and MICONs aligned to USCENTCOM priorities.
• Write, review, and edit IW-related documents.
• Coordinate and synchronize full-spectrum special operations in joint and interagency contexts.
• Advise on SOF employment in support of IW and address complex challenges.
• Coordinate planning and execution across DoD, interagency, allied, coalition, and multinational activities.
• Provide expertise for current IW operations and SME coordination.
• Coordinate FOIA requests and MDRs for designated files.
• Safeguard government information and comply with records requirements.
• Deliver products to the designated government task lead, COR, or alternate COR.
