Job summary

Mass General Brigham Home Care, Inc. is seeking an MRI Technologist to provide high-quality patient care and operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic scans at our Mass General Brigham Home Care site. The role requires familiarity with nuclear medicine principles and strong patient communication.

Qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Imaging, CNMT/ARRT-N and state licenses preferred, and 2–3 years MRI experience with diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Record images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintain pertinent records and documentation.
  • Maintain documentation regarding radioactive materials and handling.

Job Summary

Responsible for providing quality patient care while producing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures safely while operating the MRI equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.

Essential Functions
  • Scan patients properly, using correct selection of technical factors, fully understanding the physics of nuclear medicine in order to operate the equipment at its most optimal settings for quality procedures
  • Prepares patients for procedures which may include transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and position patients
  • Explains procedures to patients taking into consideration physical and emotional needs
  • Records images as directed for radiologist interpretation
  • Maintains pertinent records
  • Maintain required documentation regarding radioactive materials, both upon receipt and prior to administration.

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist [CNMT/ARRT-N Certification] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Radiologic Technologist and Technician [Nuclear Medicine - State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Radiologic Technologist and Technician [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred
  • Radiologic Technologist and Technician [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred

Experience MRI Tech experience with multiple patient populations 2-3 years required

Pay Range
  • Min: $65.00
