The role requires reading drawings, performing rigging, operating heavy equipment, and collaborating with teams on site while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven ironworker experience in industrial or energy construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and erection drawings.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Experience with rigging and crane signaling.
• Strong safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and erection drawings to determine methods and sequences.
• Unload and stack steel components, ensuring proper identification and storage.
• Assemble and erect structural steel frames, columns, beams, girders, and other metal components.
• Perform rigging operations and guide loads safely with crane operators.
• Connect steel components using bolts, rivets, or welding with proper alignment.
• Cut, grind, and prepare steel components for fitting and assembly.
• Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely.
