This role involves the safe and efficient erection, assembly, and installation of structural steel and other metal components according to project specifications and blueprints. Responsibilities:\*\* \* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and erection drawings to determine appropriate methods and sequences for erecting structural steel. \* Unload and stack steel components, ensuring proper identification and storage. \* Assemble and erect structural steel frames, columns, beams, girders, and other metal components using various tools and equipment. \* Perform rigging operations, including selecting and inspecting appropriate rigging gear, communicating with crane operators, and guiding loads safely. \* Connect steel components using bolts, rivets, or by welding, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections. \* Cut, grind, and prepare steel components for fitting and assembly. \* Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. \* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE at all times. \* Inspect erected structures for conformity to specifications and quality standards. \* Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other trades on site. \* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
