Job summary

Stinger Bridge & Iron, an AISC and PCI certified fabricator, seeks Ironworkers for installing steel frames in building projects. Work centers on the Southwest market, with fabrication in Coolidge, AZ and erection across multiple western states.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, signaling cranes, cutting and welding, aligning components, and decking installation. Pre-employment drug testing and a lift requirement apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Apprenticeship or field experience in iron/steel preferred.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and instructions.
• Unload and stack prefabricated iron and steel for lifting.
• Signal crane operators to position structural steel.
• Cut, bend, and weld using torches and tools.
• Align iron/steel vertically and horizontally with guides.
• Connect iron/steel with bolts, wire, or welds.
• Install metal decking.
