Stinger Bridge & Iron is seeking Ironworkers to establish and install steel frames for buildings and other structures. Located in Coolidge, AZ, this role involves reading blueprints, signaling crane operators, and performing heavy fabrication tasks as part of a team on Southwestern bridge and highway projects.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an apprenticeship or field experience, and the ability to lift 75 pounds. Pre-employment drug testing is required.

• Read blueprints and sketches to guide installation and fabrication.
• Complete an apprenticeship or have field experience in iron/steel work.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, sketches, and other instructions.
• Unload and stack prefabricated iron and steel for lifting.
• Signal crane operators who lift and position structural steel.
• Use shears, rod-bending machines, torches, hand tools, and welding equipment to cut, bend, and weld structural and reinforcing iron and steel.
• Align structural and reinforcing iron and steel vertically and horizontally with tag lines, plumb bobs, lasers, and levels.
• Connect iron and steel with bolts, wire, or welds.
• Install metal decking.
