WA River Protection Solutions seeks a fully qualified Ironworker/Rigger to perform complex rigging and ironwork, including lofting, splicing wire rope, erection and dismantling of scaffolding, and inspection of rigging gear.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 5 years journeyman experience, knowledge of mobile cranes, and compliance with radiological safety standards including respirators and Hazardous Worker training.
Fully qualified Ironworker/Rigger. Perform all types of complex rigging and ironwork. Rigging involves loft and field jobs, such as splicing wire rope, building wire slings, erection, dismantling and inspecting of metal scaffolding and staging. Structures built of scaffolding and all difficult load slinging. Inspect, maintain, and repair complex rigging equipment. Inspection and change out wire rope. Ironwork involves the fabrication, erection, and dismantling of steel structures, placing and setting reinforcing, etc. Ironwork includes fabrication, erecting/installing, dismantling and inspecting of fixed ladders, platforms and catwalks.
Experience in radiological and hazardous material work including respiratory protection, Asbestos Worker, Radiation Worker II and 24 or 40 hour Hazardous Waste Worker training.
Hourly Rate: $53.849
