Job summary

ht h companies is seeking an Ironworker to install pre-engineered metal buildings, perform connecting work, and operate at elevated heights. The role requires familiarity with basic hand signals and rigging, plus safety knowledge for working at heights.

Welding experience is a plus and comfort with various weather conditions is expected. The candidate must use a range of hand tools, perform demanding physical work for 8+ hours daily, and maintain teamwork, punctuality, and attention to safety

Qualifications

• Must be able to participate in safety training and wear PPE.
• Physically capable of 8+ hours of work per day.
• Able to use a variety of hand tools and operate machinery.
• Familiar with pre-engineered buildings, pole barns, metal studs, and welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe workplace by participating in safety training and identifying hazards.
• Show up on time and ready to complete work.
• Follow directions of manager/lead/superintendent; clarify responsibilities when needed.
• Respect coworkers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients.
• Care for company equipment and return in good condition.
• Adapt methods to complete tasks and be willing to learn new skills.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
