Job summary

Trillium Construction is hiring experienced Structural Ironworkers with welding experience for a short-term industrial project in the Fairfax, SC area.

The job involves erecting and securing beams, welding and bolting components, reading drawings, and coordinating with crane/riging crews. Night shifts are 11 hours long with up to 110 hours across 10 shifts. Pay ranges from $32 to $36 per hour, plus $150 per day per diem for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• Previous structural ironwork experience.
• 2+ years of welding experience preferred.
• Ability to weld structural steel in an industrial construction environment.
• Comfortable working at heights and on 11-hour night shifts.
• Reliable transportation to the jobsite.

• Perform structural welding on steel components as needed.
• Bolt, connect, fit, and secure structural steel members.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and welding symbols.

• Follow jobsite safety procedures and project specifications.

• Location: Fairfax, SC (near Allendale)
• Dates: October 26 – November 4, 2026
• Shift: Night shift, 11-hour shifts
• Schedule: 10 shifts / up to 110 hours
• Pay: $32–$36/hour, depending on experience
• Per Diem: $150/day for eligible travelers
