OPD, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, seeks an Ironworker in Baytown, TX to assemble and secure structural supports and install steel structures. You will handle lifting, rigging, and signaling with crane teams on active job sites and must meet strict safety and endurance standards.

Travel is required; NCCER Ironworker certification is preferred. The team emphasizes safety, teamwork, and on-time performance on gas plant projects across the U.S.

Formación

• At least 1.5 years of ironworker experience.
• Must follow safety procedures and wear a full body harness and lanyard.
• Knowledgeable of crane signals (hand and verbal).
• Willingness to travel with extended time away from home.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts up to 7 days per week when required.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble and secure structural supports according to specifications.
• Practical knowledge of structural steel assembly and installation.
• Use of tools to adjust and fasten steel beams.
• Lift and move heavy equipment and materials with mechanical equipment.
• Attach loads using chains, slings, cables, hooks and related gear.
• Communicate with the rigging team and crane operator.
• Assess weights of loads to lift safely.
