Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking an Ironworker Foreman to direct and supervise a crew in planning, lay-out, installation and alignment per plans, specs, and codes. You will coordinate journeyman and craftsmen, motivate the crew for safety, productivity, and quality while coordinating with other crafts as needed on the project.

You’ll lead toolbox talks, enforce safety procedures, and ensure 1-week lookahead planning, daily goal cards, JSAs, and task planning are followed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards employees may be subject to and take corrective action.
• Understand and respond to safety hazards and warning devices.
• Train and implement lockout/tag out procedures safely.
• Implement 100% tie off/fall protection.
• Follow Mastec Safety Manual and policies including fall protection and trenching.
• Inspect daily equipment on all gear used that day.
• Follow planning/JSA process for crew and provide training.
