Qualifications

• Reads specifications or blueprints to determine material locations and sizes.
• Ability to use hand tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.

• Understand and apply safety rules on site.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to determine locations and quantities of material.
• Fabricate metal parts per blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Hoist, position, and align steel beams using cranes or signals.
• Verify alignment with plumb bobs, lasers, or levels.
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces as required.
• Assemble rigging to move heavy equipment or materials.
• Bolt or weld structural members in place.
