Responsibilities

• Keep projects moving by installing and erecting structural steel to stay on schedule.
• Execute precision work to ensure connections, alignment, and installation meet standards.
• Read and follow blueprints and layout instructions accurately.
• Maintain jobsite standards by protecting materials, tools, and organization.
• Protect the crew by following safety protocols and speaking up when something isn’t right.

Here's How We Support Our Ironworkers

• Competitive Pay: $28 - $36 per hour based on experience. 50-60 hours per week.
• Per Diem Available: $600 - $700 per week for workers traveling outside the project area.
• Overtime Opportunities: Additional hours available to boost your income.
• Consistent Work: Ongoing steel erection projects in the Columbia / Annapolis Junction area.
• Over Time Available: 50 - 60 hours of work per week, so plenty of OT.

Qualifications

Before joining our team, you should have:

• 3+ Years Ironworker Experience in steel erection.
• Steel Erection Skills: rigging, connecting, plumbing, and bolting.
• Ability to Read Plans and follow construction layouts.
• Personal Ironworker Tools.
• U.S. Citizenship or Naturalized Citizenship.
