Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree plus one year of related experience or a combination of education and experience equal to five (5) years.
• Experience in an administrative office setting preferred.
• Familiarity with federal regulations related to human subjects research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the review and approval process for IRB submissions.
• Review IRB applications for completeness and accuracy; document findings for review stages.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and federal regulations.
• Coordinate and prepare for IRB meetings.
• Maintain IRB records and documentation.
• Draft stipulations for submissions and actions.
• Facilitate group meetings internally and with external teams.
• Contribute to development of internal educational resources and policies.
• Communicate between IRB administration, board members, and research teams.
