Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in research or research administration.
• Master’s degree and two years of experience in research or research administration.
• Four years of direct experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Degree Equivalency Clause and SB 1310 guidelines noted.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day management of the USF System Reliance Program by reviewing external IRB submissions and assigning reviewers.
• Provide regulatory consultations to researchers to ensure compliance with federal regulations, state law and university policies.
• Review Institutional Investigator Agreements and IRB Authorization Agreements and track master agreement expirations.
• Assist in budgeting and documentation for grant submissions.
• Contribute to development of SOPs and AAHRPP accreditation activities, and support for federal inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the IRB Manager, Assistant Director or Director.
