Job summary

Albert Einstein College of Medicine seeks an experienced IRB Manager to supervise a team of analysts and oversee multiple regulatory functions within OHRA. You will manage submissions, triage complex reviews, and guide staff through regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of human subjects protections, and the ability to coordinate with IRB Chairs and leadership to ensure compliant, timely reviews. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of IRB or human research protections experience required.
• Progressive supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret federal/state regulations governing human-subjects research.
• Familiarity with 45 CFR 46 and 21 CFR Parts 50, 56, 312, 812.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises an assigned team of IRB analysts and manages performance.
• Oversees operations of ancillary committees or regulatory functions within OHRA.
• Manages day-to-day administrative and compliance activities for IRB submissions.
