Job summary

The University of Toledo seeks an Associate Compliance Analyst, IRB, to join the Office of Research Compliance. You will help ensure compliance with DHHS/OHRP, FDA, HIPAA for human subject research, handling pre-review materials, and providing guidance to investigators and IRB members.

Responsibilities include training staff, managing confidential information, and supporting broader research compliance activities while aspiring to CIP certification. Minimum salary is posted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2–3 years in human subject research/regulatory compliance experience.
• Knowledge of DHHS/OHRP, FDA, HIPAA regulations.
• Understanding of 45 CFR 46, 21 CFR 56, HIPAA rules.
• Ability to manage confidential information and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead protocol pre-review and analysis for human subjects research.
• Review and disposition materials related to pre-reviews (informed consents, data tools, agreements).
• Provide education/guidance to investigators and IRB members.
• Maintain confidential information and manage disclosures and contracts.
• Support research compliance activities and training.
