Job summary

SEAKR Engineering, LLC is seeking an IRAD Manager to lead and execute Independent Research and Development programs for space electronics. You will supervise cross-functional teams, translate roadmaps into actionable plans, and ensure compliant, on-time delivery.

You will report to the Technical Director and drive strategic collaboration across engineering, product development, and production. This role requires a proven leader capable of managing multiple IRAD streams in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Lead complex technical programs from concept to delivery.
• Knowledge of IRAD and related developments.
• Understanding of engineering workflows and internal operations.
• Proficient with MS Project and common office tools.

Responsibilities

• Program Execution: Manage and oversee SEAKR’s IRAD execution to support engineering, product development, program execution, and production.
• Strategic Collaboration: Work with the Technical Director, Portfolio Chief Engineer, and Engineering Fellows to advance space-based electronics.
• Compliance & Funding: Ensure IRAD projects meet cost, schedule, and federal funding rules.
• Capital Investment Support: Align IRAD plans with capital investments with leadership.
• Standardization: Ensure consistency and documentation across IRAD initiatives.
• Market Alignment: Position SEAKR to win programs by timely IRAD execution.
• Issue Escalation: Provide a clear path to escalate technical challenges.
• Testing Coordination: Coordinate radiation testing with the Radiation Manager.
• Leadership Reporting: Provide quarterly reports on budget, metrics, TRLs, and IRAD status.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project docs, risk registers, and milestones.
