Job summary

Holy Cross Health Florida in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to support fluoroscopy and imaging procedures. You will operate radiographic and digital imaging equipment, acquire and route images to PACS, and communicate effectively with the medical team to ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

The role requires Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, ARRT Radiography, and BLS certification, with on-call availability within 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Radiology program.
• BLS certification required.
• On-call availability within 30 minutes.
• Florida Licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Radiography).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of radiographic and digital imaging equipment and table positioning for patient safety.
• Acquires images and transmits them to PACS.
• Communicates clearly with the team in writing and verbally.
• Transports patients to/from procedural and recovery areas as needed.
• Assists with patient transfer to/from the procedure table.
• Maintains ongoing communication with the physician operator during procedures.
• Learns new procedures and coordinates in-service education for staff.
• Administers contrast media under physician direction and responds to reactions.
