Job summary

Jefferson Health in Philadelphia is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. You will produce radiographs during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to perform radiographic examinations.

Qualifications include formal x-ray technology training, at least three years as an x-ray technologist, two years in interventional radiography, and ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal x-ray technology training.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as an x-ray technologist.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as an interventional radiographer.
• ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Interventional Radiology Technologists are responsible for the following:

• Produce radiographs during specialized radiology diagnostic & therapeutic procedures.
• Work alongside physicians and nursing personnel to perform radiographic examinations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Interventional Radiology Technologists will be assigned to a team consisting of physicians, nursing personnel, and technologists in order to perform specialized radiographic examinations such as biopsies, catheter insertions, and more. Qualifications for this position include:

• Satisfactory completion of formal x-ray technology training
• Minimum three (3) years of experience as an x-ray technologist
• Minimum two (2) years of experience as an interventional radiographer
• ARRT certification required
