Qualifications

Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time (64 hours bi-weekly) Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in our Integrated Platform.

What you will do:
  • Perform high quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, cone beam CT exams, with three-dimensional reconstruction of imaging examinations, and complex procedures to aide in medical diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease to include interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases.
  • Assist physician as a scrub person according to prescribed standards. Assist RN and provider in performing circulating duties as directed. Display understanding of anatomy and physiology, the pathological condition affecting the patient, the planned procedure, and consider any variations that may be necessary to meet the needs of the patient.
  • Team structure consists of two IR Technologists to one nurse and one physician.

What is available:
  • .8 FTE - 64 hours bi-weekly
  • Monday - Friday (8-hour day shifts)

  • Rotational on-call nights and weekends

What you need:

  • Post High School education in a specialized field: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist-Radiography (ARRT)

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered Technologist-Radiology & Advanced Credential Required (CI, VI or CVI) within five years of hire date

  • Wisconsin employees must be a Licensed Radiographer with the State of Wisconsin (LICRAD-WI)

  • Iowa employees must have a Permit to Practice from the Iowa Department of Public Health (RADTECH-IA)

  • Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
