Qualifications

  • Post-high school education in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school.
  • ARRT Registered Technologist-Radiography required.
  • Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer or Iowa Permit to Practice needed.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32

Position: Part-time Interventional Radiology Technologist (64 hours bi-weekly) at Gundersen Health System, working in our Integrated Platform.

What You Will Do:
  • Perform high-quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, cone beam CT exams with three-dimensional reconstruction, and complex procedures to aid in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, including interventional radiology, vascular, and neuro cases.
  • Assist physicians as a scrub person and support RN and providers in circulating duties, understanding anatomy, physiology, and the procedural needs of patients.
  • Work within a team structure consisting of two IR Technologists, one nurse, and one physician.
  • This position is ideal for new graduates with a Radiology degree.
Availability:
  • .8 FTE - 64 hours bi-weekly
  • Monday - Friday, 8-hour day shifts
  • Rotational on-call nights and weekends
Requirements:
  • Post-high school education in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school
  • ARRT Registered Technologist-Radiography
  • ARRT Radiology & Advanced Credential (CI, VI, or CVI) within five years of hire
  • Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer or Iowa Permit to Practice, as applicable
  • Current Infant-Adult BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
