Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures and ensure patient safety. You will participate in angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, with post-processing and documentation responsibilities.

The role requires ARRT or ARDMS registration upon hire and BCLS certification, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care across age groups in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training.
• No prior experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT registration required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies; performs modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Completes all post-processing functions and related record keeping; provides patient care.
• Follows established protocols and techniques with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
