Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including angiography, venography, myelography, and GI studies, with modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.

Responsibilities include post-processing, documentation, and maintaining protocol-driven care across diverse patient ages from adolescent to geriatric, with ARRT/ARDMS credentials and BLS required; VI/CI certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS or ARRT radiographer registration required; Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral and GI studies, and modality-assisted drainage and biopsies.
• Complete all post-processing functions and related record-keeping.
• Ensure adherence to established protocols and tailor techniques for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
