Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking an Radiologic Technologist specialized in interventional procedures. You will perform diagnostic and interventional radiology studies, including angiography and venography, with post-processing and patient care across age groups.

Qualifications include graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT registration, with BCLS required on hire. Certification in VI/CI is preferred; on-site role in Georgia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited program.
• No experience required.
• ARDMS/ARRT registration upon hire required and BCLS upon hire required.
• VI/CI Interventional ARRT advanced certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures including angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and GI studies, with post-processing and patient care.

Responsibilities

Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures to include but not limited to: angiography, venography, myelography, nephro-ureteral, and gastrointestinal studies, and modality assisted drainage and biopsies. Completes all post processing functions. Performs related record keeping and patient care functions. Ensures the utilization of established protocols and techniques differentiating for adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the performance of diagnostic procedures and functions.
