Job summary

Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL is seeking a Full-time Radiology Tech to support the Vascular Lab during cardiac catheterization procedures. You will operate diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment and ensure sterile technique while providing safe, compassionate patient care for adults 18 and older.

In this role you will assist physicians as monitor, scrub and circulator, maintain accurate hemodynamic data, and contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on vascular health;

Qualifications

• ARRT-RT or RCIS or CVT experience and BLS required.
• Graduation from accredited School of Radiology Technology and one year of cath lab or special procedures experience required.
• IR vascular experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures using diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment.
• Maintain sterile technique and knowledge of the cardiovascular system.
• Provide direct patient care to adults 18 years and older.
• Maintain data in the hemodynamic computer system.
• Assist physician as monitor, scrub and circulate.

FT with call rotation - Vascular Lab working with Vascular Surgeons

Responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures utilizing diagnostic and interventional radiographic equipment. Utilizes sterile technique and maintains operational and anatomic knowledge of the cardiovascular system. Provides direct patient care to patients 18 years of age, or older. Maintains appropriate and accurate data in the hemodynamic computer system. Will be required to assist the physician in the performance of all catheterization procedures in the role of monitor, scrub and circulate. rec:max

Registered Radiology Tech (ARRT) or RCIS credentials or CVT experience and BLS required. Graduation from acredited School of Radiology Technology and one year of special procedures or cath lab experience reruired. IR Vascular experience preferred.
