Banner Health in Mesa, AZ is seeking an IR Special Procedures Tech to perform radiographic procedures and support PTO coverage. The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and 2+ years of radiology experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, ensure quality images, maintain safety standards, and support efficient patient care during varied shifts at Banner Baywood Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Certificate/diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• National ARRT certification and state licensure if applicable.
• BLS certification required prior to employment.
• Typically 2 years of clinical radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed radiographic procedures per policy.
• Educate patients about procedures and expected care.
• Produce high-quality images and maintain records.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment safely.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper documentation.
• Maintain workflow and inventory to avoid service interruptions.
• Collaborate with health care team to deliver quality care.
• Adhere to confidentiality and ethical standards.
