GI Alliance is seeking an IR Sedation Nurse to assess patients and develop plans of care for those receiving moderate sedation for surgical procedures. The RN ensures patient comfort and safety, adhering to HIPAA and regulatory standards throughout the perioperative process.

The position involves preparing the procedure room, stocking supplies, administering medications, monitoring vitals, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares patient and procedure room for radiology procedures in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Prepares patient for the day’s procedures and explains procedures to address concerns.
• Stocks Nursing Cart with supplies including EKG leads and oxygen.
• Documents narcotic usage and secures inventory according to policy.
• Administers medications pre, intra, and post-op; monitors vitals intra-operatively.
• Oversees crash cart, performs AED checks, and maintains medication logs.
